If a post base feels loose, you can safely tighten the exposed anchor bolts with a socket wrench and see if the wobble stops. If a set screw on a top rail has backed out, you can snug it with an Allen key. Both are quick checks and neither puts you at risk. What you should not do is try to remove or re-seat a tempered glass panel yourself. Tempered glass holds a lot of stored tension, and an edge chip during handling can cause the entire panel to shatter into fragments. A 12mm panel also weighs 60 to 90 pounds depending on size, which is awkward weight to manage at rail height.
